Robbinsdale Area Youth Baseball Association

The Robbinsdale Area Youth Baseball Association (RAYBA) offers a complete and competitive baseball program to all boys and girls aged 13 and over of School District 281, regardless of skill level.

We are committed to developing our player’s skills, teamwork and leadership while providing an environment that fosters the highest degree of participation, sportsmanship and fun.

In 2006, we introduced our Town Ball team for the first time. We are please to announce the return of Town Ball for another season in 2010. RAYBA is pleased to have them represent us in the Town Ball league where they play city teams throughout the Metro area and state.

We are proud to offer the following levels of baseball for 2010:

Summer Season:

House League for ages 13-15
Gopher State Traveling for ages 13-15
16U Gopher State Traveling for age 16
19U Gopher State Traveling for ages 17-19
TCMABL (Twin Cities Men's Adult Baseball League), 20+

	2010 Tryout Dates Set!
	We will have two tryout sessions this year—one for Traveling and one for our In-House league. Players not wishing to tryout for a traveling team, and those players that do not make a traveling team, will attend the House Evaluations. Remember, we have a spot for everybody that wants to play ball! Traveling Tryouts - April 10th at Cooper High School. House Evaluations - May 8th at Sandburg Middle School. Each session will evaluate skills both indoors and outdoors. Players should come appropriately dressed and prepared to play ball. See our Tryout page for additional information.

	2010 Spring Warm Up Dates
	Join us at Cooper High School for our Spring Warm Ups. They are free of charge and open to all 13, 14 and 15 year olds. March 7, 14, 21 13 year olds: 6:30 - 7:30 pm 14 year olds: 7:30 - 8:30 pm 15 year olds: 8:30 - 9:30 pm

	Next Board Meeting
	The next RAYBA board meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 16th at 7 P.M. at Phoenix Solutions, 3324 Winpark Drive Crystal. All board meetings are open to public. If you are interested in volunteering and assisting in helping RAYBA grow, there are many opportunities.

	Congratulations Teams!
	House League RAYBA Twins (13 Yr. Old) won the MYAS State Rec Tournament to complete their Season. They bested 29 other teams! RYABA Dodgers (14-15 Yr. Old) won the USSSA State A Tournament, beating 17 other teams. Traveling 19U AA Team - Won their Division! They also placed 3rd in the Tier 1 end of season tournament. Contratulations Teams, Coaches, and Parents who volunteered and provided support for their players.

	2009 - 2010 Winter/Spring Baseball Player & Coaches Training Camps
	Visit our Clinics/Camps page for details of many LOCAL Baseball camps endorsed by RAYBA. Most camps are available for ages 8-18. We will be posting winter baseball camps in the near future.Camps typically begin in November! Click on Clinics for details. Each clinic feaures links to their web sites where registration information is available. As camp information becomes available, we will update the site. There will be Spring training camps available. Once these become available we will post them. Take advantage of these opportunities to prepare for the 2010 season!
